"I hardly ever think about the surgery because it went as planned and I'm so pleased with how I look now. I look like myself again.
When I first met with Dr. Denton, I was a little embarrassed and shy about discussing my problems with my nose. But he was so attentive and understanding that I immediately started to feel more comfortable.
Computer imaging was an invaluable part of the consultation. Seeing my face so clearly on the monitor -- and being able to point at specific areas -- made it a lot easier to express how I felt. When I saw Dr. Denton make the adjustments to the image, I felt we were both 'on the same page'.
Having had less than satisfactory results from a previous surgery, I understood how crucial it was to choose the right doctor for a revision. I felt that Dr. Denton was the right choice, in part because of his skills and training, but also because it was clear how much he cares for and respects his patients.
Making arrangements for the surgery was no problem - I found the Patient Care Coordinators to be helpful, friendly and efficient. The surgical staff and nurses were professional, reassuring and kind.
When the cast came off one week later, I was pleased to see a nice, straight profile. It takes a long time for a rhinoplasty to fully heal, but I could already see an improvement. As the months went by, we were both pleased to see how natural it looked.
I'm so glad I made the decision to have my nose fixed. When I talk about my cosmetic surgery with people it's surprising to find out how many people have had one or two things done.
Now I'm looking forward to my wedding next summer, and being happy with how I look in all those wedding photos."
